Let it snow...

Our best friends, Heather and Brian (Zack's Godparents), have been really wanting to take Zack to the snow for the first time. Since Heather and Rich are still on vacation from work, we decided to make the trip today. Thank you, Barnes', for driving and bringing the hot cocoa!
Zack was a little nervous about the snow at first. He cried quite a bit and screamed bloody murder when Rich would sled down a hill. I think he thought Rich was getting hurt? After a while, he warmed up to it and was ready to get down and play.
Our sweet friends.

"...and THROW it in the oven, for Zacky and me!"

He was so traumatized (right, Ranj?) by the snow that he actually fell asleep in Rich's arms as we walked through the woods.

We brought the PB&J...they brought the hot cocoa :)

"See? You only eat the WHITE snow."

I just love how gentle he is with our son. What a wonderful man.

Mini-Me...

Yesterday, I took my sweet niece Kyrie out to have some fun. She was having kind of a rough day and I thought this was JUST what she needed to cheer her up. She and I are so similar...she is sensitive, quiet (at times), gentle, emotional...and we LOOK alike :) I love this kid.

Michelle and family...

I took my cute friend Michelle and her family out for a photo shoot yesterday. I had so much fun! Rich is slowly, but surely, teaching me how to do more on Photoshop. I'm a work in progress, but I have to say more than excited about these pictures and how the finished product turned out. I took my niece Kyrie out today, but I'm going to try to do the editing on those myself, so I won't be posting those for a while (because I'm SLOW). :)

I love how natural she looks in this one :) Good job, Michelle!

Haylee ATE THIS UP! I told her I'd like to take some more pics. of her...I loved how she wasn't afraid to climb things or get dirty...I love that.

Michelle is an incredible mom and I tried hard to capture the love she has for her kids.

This is Michelle's "adopted" son, Dustin. What a trooper! This kid always had a smile on his face. What a great personality (although, we DID have to Photoshop a HICKEY off of his neck! Ha!).
