Three months old...

I turned on my computer this morning and saw the date...December 11th. I realized that Zack is three months old today. I can't even begin to comprehend how much our lives have changed in the last year, let alone in the last three months. We have gone from being barren to being fuller that we could have ever dreamed! Every day Rich and I fall deeper and deeper into the rolls of "Mom" and "Dad" and deeper and deeper in love with this precious child. I feel so grateful that, out of all the people on this great big planet, WE were the ones chosen to love and care for him.

Lord, please continue to guide us in raising Zack and give us the discernment to make right choices for him. We thank you for blessing us in ways that have allowed me to stay home with him. Thank you for Rich...the loving, attentive, supportive and compassionate husband you have chosen for me. I know that the times I have doubted you probably outnumber the stars...but you still blessed me with the deepest desire of my heart - - a child. I am truly amazed at just how BIG you really are.

We have found that Zack LOVES his changing table (thank you, Chrissy!). We take him in there to change his diaper and he just wants to stay in there and play. He likes to zone out at the vent on the ceiling above him, thump his feet on the changing pad and bang on the wall with his fist.

Zack LOVES this teddy bear that Auntie Heather bought him when he was born. It's one of those really soft, plush ones and he snuggles with it when he sleeps...it's so cute.
