Mommy's Christmas present...

Well, Christmas came early this year!

Rich had his company Christmas party with Toyota tonight - - it's for employees only, so I was spending the evening at home with Zack and Heather. I was surprised when Rich came home at 7:30...usually he calls for me to come pick him up because he's had "a few too many" to drive himself home. I asked him why he was home so early and what present he got from the company this year for Christmas (they always give out electronics). He said, "It's in the front seat of your car." I asked why it would be in MY car since he drove HIS car to work. "Just go look." I was thinking it was one of the flat screen TV's he had his eye on. I open the garage door and there it was - - a brand spankin' new 2008 Toyota Camry! It only had 13 miles on it...all of which Rich had put on it. Apparently, he got it straight off the truck this morning and didn't even let anyone test-drive it :)

Rich has humbly been driving a 1991 Ford Escort with 150,000 miles on it for the last few years and now he will be taking over my Corolla. This is SO not like him to do something like this! I'm totally shocked! It's beautiful!
