We've been busy!

We've had a busy couple of weeks, but here are some pictures of what we've been doing while not at work.
We had a BBQ at our friends Sarah and Glenn Houston's house. Rich and I brought our nephew Alex with us because he and the Houston's son Daniel are pals. They had so much fun playing together (Sarah, sorry again for the gallon of bubbles that got spilled on your back porch!).
Daniel and Alex. What one did, the other had to do too.

Alex and Uncle Rich playing in Daniel's room with is train table. Looks like Uncle is doing more of the playing that Alex though!

My friend and co-worker Harinder brought his daughter to work with him this past week. Jasleen had a lot of fun playing "secretary" at the front desk (don't worry, the Whiteout cap is on tight and we watched her closely).

Then, on the 29th, I came home from work to a BBQ at our house with some of our closest friends. Jess wanted us to celebrate the coming of our son with the people we love, so she planned a nice get together for Rich and me.

Our friend Heidi made a beautiful diaper/baby food cake for a centerpiece...in addition to hand knitting a blanket for Zack.

Chrissy and Pais were there!

My sister Patti and Dan...they only have one more month until they become parents for the first time!

Paisley got tired of hunting for the cats and decided to play quietly with her horses until Shea showed up and she'd have someone to play with.

My husband is so creative. This is a onesie that Daddy decorated for baby Zack...he probably chose this particular saying because he says that I have a "mutant sense of smell".

Heather and Heidi watching the kids play in the living room.

Mom and Amie shootin' the breeze.

Jess, Rich and me relaxing after a long day.

Playing with Heidi's son Josh. He's getting so big!

Heidi's daughter Charlotte and me.

Me and Rich opening a very unexpected gift from Jess' dad Roger. Thank you, Roger for the awesome Pack N Play! I know it will definately be put to good use!

Me and Steph playing pictionary.

Alex showing Chrissy his pearly whites. He is always the life of the party.

Hi Chrissy!!!
Two days later, on the 31st, my mom celebrated her 68th birthday! We celebrated by inviting a few of her closest friends over for a home-made spaghetti dinner.

Mom blowing out her candles.

Friends, Charles and Marilyn Likes.

John and Judy Mallen. They've been friends since before I can remember.

Jess cutting the cake.

Only 9 more days to go Jess!!!

Happy birthday Momma!!!
