I had a nice three-day weekend with plenty of relaxing time since Rich worked an off-site sale (yuck!).
I started the weekend off with a nice relaxing Saturday evening spent with my friend Chrissy. We just lied in bed and talked for hours, then grabbed some salads at La Salsa in Marysville. Sorry, no pictures of that, unfortunately.
AJ had a slumber party to go to Sunday, so I took Alex and Shea overnight to give my sister and brother-in-law a night to themselves. We started with playing inside for a bit due to the heat, but the kids were pretty restless so we played in the sprinklers instead, followed by bath time with Uncle's shaving cream.
Saturday was Alex's 3rd birthday, so we celebrated with pizza and a cupcake when he and Shea stayed over. Don't blame me, he's the one that insisted on the pink flowered cupcake.
Jess and I met with Colleen and a few of her friends for lunch at Dancing Tomato for some yummy Italian food on Monday.
Jess and I spent then next few hours shopping, then went home and watched movies to avoid the heat.
Bailey watched movies with us.
I made a blanket for Jess to take home with her.
Even the cats had a relaxing weekend! Yes, this is just how lazy our cat Gramps is...I threw the blanket scraps on him and he didn't even budge!
