Happy Father's Day...

Happy 1st Father's Day, sweetie! I love you so much and am so proud of the father you have become. I know it was a long journey for you to become a dad, and at times not an easy one, but Zack is the luckiest little boy in the whole world to have been given YOU as his Daddy. I knew early on when we were dating that you'd be an incredible parent...I have so many pictures of you with our nieces and nephews when they were babies and each one melts my heart. God has granted you with so many wonderful gifts and I thank Him for each and every one of them. Parenting with you has been such a joy!

This is the first picture of you taken with your son.

This picture was taken the day our little boy came home from the hospital. You were a natural already!
Remember those LONG nights of colic? Sometimes, your calming tone and gentle touch were the only things that could comfort him.
I have enjoyed every moment spent watching you interact with our son. He will grow to be an incredible man because of your guidance. Never doubt the impact you have on him...not for one second.
Happy Father's Day to my father-in-law, Cliff. We thank you for all of your support and love over the years. Zack is blessed to have you as his Grandpa.

Happy (God)Father's Day to you, Barnes! You're an awesome Godfather for Zack and we can't wait to celebrate your wedding in TWO WEEKS!

And, last, but not least, Happy Father's Day to my Papa. We miss you every day. As most of you know, my dad passed away in 2002 after a 15 year battle with lymphoma. He, to me, was the epitome of strength and courage. He was a wonderful man and I wouldn't be who I am today without him. Mom, I thank you for choosing such an incredible father for us.

"There are many homes up there where my Father lives, and I am going to prepare them for your coming. When everything is ready, then I will come and get you, so that you can always be with me where I am."

~ John 14:2,3 (From my dad's funeral program)

What a wonderful why to honor all the wonderful fathers in your life. I lost my dad 7 years ago to cancer and I miss him like crazy.
