Surprise baby shower for Steph...

My best friend Steph and her husband Luis are expecting their first child in three weeks. Luis' family threw a surprise shower for Steph this afternoon, so Zack, my other best friend Heather and I went together. Congratulations Romero Family!!! We can't wait to meet Zack's future best friend Cristian!

We had a welcoming BBQ today for Zack at our friend's house. So many of the people who have supported us on this long journey were there to celebrate with us and it was amazing to have everyone in the same place at the same time.

All I heard from Shea all afternoon was, "I'm bored. There's nothing to do. Can I hold the baby again?"

We were so honored that Rich's grandma was able to be there with us. She flew in from Illinois last night and this was the first time she was able to meet her grandson Zack.

Zack was a little fussy for a while because he was fighting sleep, so I put him in the sling to calm him down. Always works...he was out like a light.

Every time I'm able to catch a picture of Sarah, she is hogging someone's baby :) Just think, Sarah...little Naomi will be here from China before you know it! We can't wait!
